We are seeking an experienced DevOps Lead to build, scale, and optimize the cloud infrastructure and CI/CD ecosystem powering our retail e-commerce platform.
This role will lead DevOps transformation, ensure platform reliability and security, and mentor a team of engineers to enable fast, stable, and high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Strategy & Cloud Management

Design and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure

Define and enforce Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards and best practices
CI/CD Pipeline Leadership

Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery

Implement zero-downtime deployment strategies (blue-green, canary releases)
Team Leadership & Development

Lead, mentor, and grow the DevOps team

Drive DevOps culture, performance reviews, and technical upskilling
Platform Reliability & Performance

Ensure high availability and scalability during peak traffic

Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response frameworks
Security & Compliance (DevSecOps)

Integrate security into the DevOps lifecycle

Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS)
Cost Optimization

Monitor and optimize cloud spend

Implement tagging, budgeting, and reporting mechanisms
Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

Design and maintain DR strategies and resilience testing

Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis
Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

7+ years in DevOps, cloud operations, or infrastructure roles

3+ years in a senior/lead DevOps role

Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP

Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitbucket)

Expertise in Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi

Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.)

Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Go)

Experience in high-traffic e-commerce environments preferred
