POS Solution Architect

We are looking for an experienced Retail POS Solution Architect to design, lead, and deliver scalable Point-of-Sale solutions for modern retail environments. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge business requirements with robust technical architecture to enable seamless retail operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end Retail POS architecture including store systems, backend integrations, and cloud components.

• Lead solution design for POS, promotions, payments, inventory, and omnichannel scenarios.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate retail requirements into technical solutions.

• Define integration patterns with ERP, CRM, loyalty programs, payment gateways, and third-party systems.

• Ensure scalability, security, performance, and high availability of POS solutions.

• Provide technical guidance and best practices to implementation teams.

• Evaluate and recommend POS platforms, tools, and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience with Retail POS systems (e.g., SAP POS, Oracle Retail, NCR, Toshiba, custom POS solutions).

• Solid understanding of retail business processes (store operations, pricing, promotions, payments, returns).

• Experience with system integrations, APIs, and middleware.

• Knowledge of cloud architectures, microservices, and event-driven design.

• Experience with payment systems, fiscal compliance, and security standards.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Retail, CAR, or other enterprise retail platforms.

• Exposure to omnichannel, mobile POS, or self-checkout solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in POS end-to-end development.
